“Light” integrated handmade furniture with natural materials. Minimalism.

Subtle, integrated “furniture” , beautiful floor. As to wall textures, below are a few images with even “older”, uneven textures looks that we love (bedroom and lady at the table).

“Stepping stones” - funky details. See throughs.

Light, textures, benches. Wink to Northern African influences

Books! Inviting place to take a book and read. Also do not take it too literally.

Use of tiles and cool wall textures.. but more subtel

Use of stone and wood in a beautiful and functional way.

Tiles reclaimed from churches and old buildings

Clever and beautiful shelf for small rooms

Using trees for shades and hanging lamps rather than artificial structures

Natural sinks / simple taps that blend in - but, we want them to be comfortable / easy to use etc as well

Use of traditional materials and techniques (like the wooden sticks), use of niches

Again art like furniture that blends in

Use of warm soft natural fabrics, coziness.

Simplicity, flow, play with light, softness and wall textures.

Special details

Minimalist lightning with a wink to past (traditional lights). Terracotta floors.

Funky deals to make things not to simple / boring

Art like furniture that blends in

Cozy Cornes and places to relax

Mix of simple floor with a tile carpet. Textures of the walls with structure.

Simplicity for wardrobes

Play with light - wink to Saudi Arabian influences (extra bathroom could have a doom)

Natural stone (functional) kitchen island

Subtle use of tiles (more the concept than this image). In the kitchen there used to be three rows of beautiful rusty brown tiles for example - wink to that.

Little funny things - one different tile, one beautiful stone in a floor etc.

Subtle uses of natural local colours (e.g. fishermen’s houses) for warmth and cosiness (mostly rugs and fabrics).

Not literally but surprises / little details in finishes

Tile statements - you can have made personalized (smaller of course) images e.g. from the house or land

example of beautiful goat parchment

Goat parchment from Barragan’s house

Amazing step detail

Floor of the shower and detail of the little window. We do not like glass for the showers / bathrooms. Taps are a not too rustic for us.

Shelves, particularly for bathrooms

Rustic facade, “light” patios, integrated benches rather than furniture

Playing with light, softness, built in benches, natural shapes

Goat leather hand made cabinet doors for walk in closet

Inside outside bathroom (for triangle one) with natural benches and minimalist frames (max glass)

Beautiful use of natural stone in the bench

Floors with random pattern - not symmetrical

Use of morrocan bricks for shower walls (we hate glass :-)

Reclaimed wood, handmade doors / windows with beautiful details

Door, simple lights with wink to past

Natural “steps” - walls are too white and smooth

Textures, coziness, bit of eclecticness (for the bar)

Exposed versus plastered - little funky details (plastering to smooth and white)

Details

Statement piece use of tiles (do not take it too literally)

WIndows to naturę (for triangle bathroom) - but then natural shape and flowers over the rocks

Inspiration for master bathroom (lookouts to rocks and nature)

we bought one of these (from old finca)

Vintage record player and guitar (heirloom from Sietske’s dad)

Chair we initially bought for the house (idea: under the balcony with the record player next to front door) as reading corner.

Potential table for Bodega (heritage piece Sietske’s parents

Bar from an old bodega in Spain. Needs work but could be a fit.

3D tiles - just inspiration

Inspiration from the past

we have a similar oven

Birdcage…. Putting small images like this is also very traditional. We also have a few amphoras from the house

Village inspiration

Symbolism for shapes (Phoenician alphabet)

This is similar to our protected floor. It is not in the image, but in every room where they made fire, there was a small birdcage with a bird for diomonoxide purposes. So we should incorporate one. WE have around 20 of these traditional chairs
